You can visit the neighboring beaches of Nea Vrasna and Stavros, where you will also find organized beaches with many sea sports activities. Finally you can visit the area of Olimpiada, where many, small and wonderful creeks will amaze you.

Along with the beach of Vrasna Beach you will find plenty of cafes, tavernas, pizzerias and restaurants to choose from. All of them offer a spectacular view of the Strymonikos Gulf.
Visit Historical Sights
Many historical sites are within a 70 km radius of Vrasna Beach. Stagira, the birthplace of philosopher Aristotle, Amphipolis, where the fleet of Alexander the Great started to conquer the East, and Philippi a city founded by King Philip II of Macedonia, are the most important.

65Km south is located Ouranoupoli, the entrance to Mount Athos. Mount Athos, referred to in Greek as the "Holy Mountain", is an important centre of Eastern Orthodox monasticism. It can be accessed only by men. Women can take a boat excursion to admire this trully unique place.

Heading from Vrasna Beach to Thessaloniki, you will find lakes Volvi and Koroneia. Plan a trip and you will have the chance to see many bird speecies that live there.
